Tour No: 02 - 21 Days / 20 Nights

Day 01 - AIRPORT(CMB) | COLOMBO.
Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB), you’ll be warmly greeted by your chauffeur guide and transfer to Colombo (approx. 40-minute drive). If time permits, enjoy a Colombo city tour- exploring its vibrant markets, colonial landmarks, and modern attractions. Overnight in Colombo.
Day 02 - COLOMBO | MIRISSA.
Morning departure to Mirissa (approx. 3-hour drive). En route, visit Sea Turtle Hatchery, enjoy a scenic mangrove river boat ride, observing the diverse ecosystem. you’ll also explore the 17th-century Galle Fort, a UNESCO-listed Dutch colonial town along the way. Overnight stay at Mirissa.
Day 03 - MIRISSA | YALA.
Depart for Yala. In the evening, relax and enjoy leisure time at the hotel. Overnight stay at Yala( Tissamaharama).
Day 04 - YALA | ELLA.
Early in the morning, experience a half-day safari in Yala National Park, renowned for its leopard population and rich biodiversity, including elephants, sloth bears, and numerous bird species. Afternoon, Travel to Ella. stopping at the ancient Buduruwagala Temple and Ravana Falls along the way. Overnight stay at Ella.
Day 05 - ELLA.
Visit the famous Nine Arch Bridge and enjoy a hike to popular Mini Adam’s Peak or, for more adventure, Ella Rock. Enjoy a relaxed evening, overnight at Ella.
Day 06 - ELLA | NUWARA ELIYA.
Depart for Nuwara Elia. Board the scenic train to Nuwara Eliya—one of the world’s most beautiful rail journeys. soaking in breathtaking hill country views. Overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya.
Day 07 – NUWARA ELIYA.
Early in the morning, you will start your journey to Horton Plains National Park for a trek to World's End, an 880-meter cliff offering breathtaking views. Here you can enjoy a picnic breakfast during the trek. Afterwards, you will return to Nuwara Eliya. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 08 – NUWARA ELIA | KANDY.
Set off for Kandy. Visit a Tea Factory, where you can learn about the tea-making process and enjoy a fresh brew. and the stunning Ramboda Falls en route. Overnight in Kandy.
Day 09 - KANDY.
Spend the morning at leisure. In the evening, visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic (Dalada Maligawa) and enjoy a traditional cultural dance show. Overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 10 - KANDY.
Kandy Sightseeing, explore the Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya, and visit several interesting temples, including Lankathilleke, Gadaladeniya, and Embekke Devalaya, close to Kandy. Later, visit a Gem Museum, and enjoy panoramic views from Kandy City View Point and Shopping. Overnight stay at Kandy.
Day 11 - KANDY | RIVERSTON.
Depart for Riverton, a cool and serene highland in the Knuckles Range, known for its panoramic views and nature trails. En route, visit a local Spice Garden. Overnight, stayed at Riverton.
Day 12 - RIVERSTON | SIGIRIYA.
Depart for Sigiriya. En route, explore Dambulla Cave Temple —a UNESCO World Heritage Site, renowned for its ancient murals and Buddha statues housed within a stunning network of caves. Overnight stay at Sigiriya.
Day 13 - SIGIRIYA.
Morning Journey to Polonnaruwa, a medieval city in Sri Lanka. Explore this ancient, UNESCO-listed site, renowned for its historical and archaeological wonders. Overnight stay at Sigiriya.
Afterwards, enjoy a traditional village experience, including a bullock cart ride, a serene catamaran boat ride on the lake, and a simple home-cooked village lunch (available upon request).
Day 14 - SIGIRIYA.
Early in the morning, start your day with a climb to the iconic 5th-century Sigiriya Rock Fortress (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) to explore its ancient frescoes and the majestic lion-pawed gateway, offering panoramic views.
In the afternoon, relax and enjoy leisure time at the hotel. Overnight stay at Sigiriya.
Day 15 - SIGIRIYA | TRINCOMALEE (NILAVELI).
Travel to Trincomalee, a natural harbor on the east coast. Here, you will visit the Koneswaram cliff-side Hindu shrine and the colorful Pathrakali Amman Temple. Overnight stay at Nilaveli.
Day 16 - TRINCOMALEE (NILAVELI).
In the morning, take a boat ride to Pigeon Island, which is a tiny island famous for snorkeling in Sri Lanka. Pigeon Island has over 100 species of stunning coral, and it is teeming with over 300 species of colourful reef fish (Please note: Pigeon Island is best visited during the season from May to October.)
In the afternoon, relax and enjoy leisure time on the beach. Overnight stay in Nilaveli.
Day 17 - TRINCOMALEE (NILAVELI).
Enjoy a full day at leisure- sunbathe, swim, or enjoy an Optional whale-watching tour (Best visit during the season from May to October.)
Day 18 - TRINCOMALEE | ANURADHAPURA | WILPATTU.
Morning, leave for Wilpatthu, En route, explore the ancient city of Anuradhapura, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with ruins dating from the 3rd century BC to the 8th century AD. If time allows, visit Mihintale, the cradle of Buddhism in Sri Lanka.
Thereafter you will continue your journey to Wilpattu where you will spend the night.
Day 19 - WILPATTU | KALPITIYA.
Early in the morning, experience a full-day safari in Wilpattu National Park, including a picnic breakfast and lunch. (Wilpattu is the largest national park in Sri Lanka, famous for its leopards and unique "Villu" lakes.)
After the safari, continue your journey to Kalpitiya – a paradise for kite-surfing enthusiasts. Overnight stay in Kalpitiya.
Day 20 – KALPITIYA.
Leisure on the beach or set off for a dolphin-watching tour (Dec–Apr). Try kitesurfing or explore fishing villages. Overnight stay at Kalpitiya.
Day 21 - KALPITIYA | COLOMBO AIRPORT (CMB).
Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport(CMB) for your departure, concluding your unforgettable 21-day journey across the island with Sri Lanka Beach Tours.
